Orkin, Wardell Garner ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Junior Josh Wardell and sophomore Elliott Orkin were named to the list of Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the ITA on Thursday.
In order to receive the honor, Wardell and Orkin upheld a personal grade point average of at least 3.50 or above (on a 4.00 scale) as well as earning a varsity letter in their respective sport, having been enrolled at their present institution for at least two semesters.
The teammates also earned spots on the SEC Academic Honor Roll earlier in the summer. The ITA Scholar-Athlete award is the first for both Wardell and Orkin.
