Thursday, September 24, 2015 | Men's Basketball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men's basketball non-conference schedule has taken full shape with the addition of tip times and broadcast information for the remaining non-conference games.
Of Florida's 13 non-conference games, at least four and possibly five will air on ESPN or ESPN2, another three will be shown on SEC Network, while CBS Sports Network and FOX Sports 1 will each handle one nationally-televised contest.
Online coverage on SEC Network + that originates from a campus-based production will increase this season, and the Gators will be covered on that platform three times, including the home opener vs. North Carolina A&T, the Dec. 22 meeting with Jacksonville and the exhibition game vs. Palm Beach Atlantic.
Florida produced 75 SEC Network events last year, and 45 men's college basketball games were streamed as SEC Network + events during the 2014-15 season with that number expected to increase in 2015-16.
For those who may not be familiar with the platform, SEC Network + events are digitally exclusive events available on the WatchESPN app to SEC Network subscribers
SEC Network + is not a television channel, however, you can watch the events on a television screen through the following applications: Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. SEC Network subscribers can also stream events on smartphones, computers and tablets via SECNetwork.com or WatchESPN.
