The DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup continues at the Golf Club of Tennessee on Sunday with the SEC-ACC match play contest to decide the winning conference.
Head Coach JC Deacon:
On the Gators' play in the third round:
“We didn't have our best round today, but we're hanging in there. We let frustration get the best of us, and we had an absolutely awful finish. For great teams, that's unacceptable. I hope these guys take it personally today and go home and focus on finishing strong the rest of the year. We didn't do that today.”
On match-play competition on Sunday:
“A lot of them have played in matches before, but it will be good to get extra match-play experience this year. It's a really cool format where we team up with the other SEC teams. It's a really fun setup, and I'm excited for the guys.”
