Jordan Reed sets Redskins' postseason record with 120-yard performance against Green Bay
The 2016 NFL Playoffs began this past weekend with 10 former Gators competing in the opening Wild Card Round. In addition, five former UF standouts rested while their respective teams enjoyed a first-round bye.
Of those playing, Jordan Reed led this week's group with a remarkable performance against the Green Bay Packers. Reed, who set a Redskins' postseason record in receiving yards by a tight end, hauled in nine receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown reception.
With all four Wild Card teams advancing, seven of the former Gators' seasons came to a halt while three will advance to the Divisional Playoff Round from Jan. 16-17.
Wild Card Round Results: Jan. 9-10
Cincinnati Bengals(Pittsburgh 18, Cincinnati 16)
Carlos Dunlap (DE) - Started at defensive end and logged three tackles, a half sack, and a quarterback hurry.
Reggie Nelson (FS) - Started at free safety and tallied three solo tackles and a sack (10-yard loss).
Kansas City Chiefs(Kansas City 30, Houston 0)
Jaye Howard (DT) - Started on the defensive line and totaled four tackles (three solo) and a sack.
Frankie Hammond (WR) - Appeared off the bench and returned four punts for 34 yards. Also hauled in one reception for three yards.
Minnesota Vikings(Seattle 10, Minnesota 9)
Sharrif Floyd (DT) - Started on the defensive line and wrapped up three solo tackles and a four-yard sack.
Justin Trattou (DE) - Appeared off the bench as a special teams member but did not record any stats.
Pittsburgh Steelers(Pittsburgh 18, Cincinnati 16)
Marcus Gilbert (T) - Started at tackle and played every offensive down.
Washington Redskins(Green Bay 35, Washington 18)
Quinton Dunbar(CB) - Appeared off the bench and registered five solo tackles and two pass deflections.
Matt Jones(RB) - Listed as inactive.
Jordan Reed (TE) - Started at tight end and led the Redskins with 120 receiving yards on nine receptions and a first-quarter touchdown.
