Two Gators selected for National Indoor Championships

FLUSHING, NY – An impressive fall season by Alfredo Perez and Johannes Ingildsen earned the two an automatic entry into the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, held at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Nov. 3-6.
Perez, a Saint Francis ITA All-American Semifinalist, will compete in both the singles competition and the doubles competition alongside Ingildsen, who won the Southeast Regional Champion title with Perez.
The tournament will feature some familiar competition for the Gators. Participants from SEC rivals Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Georgia, as well as southeast regional teams University of North Florida and Georgia Tech are all featured in both the singles and doubles selections.

The competition will feature a 32-player singles draw and a 20-team doubles draw. Full selections can be viewed here.
Qualifications
Gaining automatic entry into the tournament are champions from the USTA/ITA Division I Regional Championships, winners of the ITA Oracle Cup Super Bowl, and the consolation champions, doubles finalists, men's singles quarterfinalists and women's singles semifinalists from the Saint Francis ITA Men's and Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.
