No. 19 Gators Take on Stetson in First Round of NCAA Tennis Tournament

The Gators travel to the USTA National Campus for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament at the UCF regional host site, where they will play Stetson in the opening round of the tournament.
LAKE NONA, Fla. – Making their 35th NCAA Tournament appearance, Florida is travelling to UCF for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Florida will face Stetson on Friday, May 1 at 2 p.m. EST in the First Round of the tournament.
The Gators enters the tournament ranked at No. 19 with the usual players holding singles and doubles rankings. Pablo Perez Ramos leads the charge in singles ranked at No. 63, Henry Jefferson follows up at No. 75, Adhithya Ganesan comes in at No. 107 and Jeremy Jin rounds out the rankings at No. 109. In doubles, All-American partners Jefferson and Tanapatt Nirundorn are ranked at No. 14 in the country.
Stetson Stats
The Hatters are 14-6 this season, going 1-2 in their conference and won the ASUN Conference Championship to reach the NCAA Tournament. The Gators are 33-1-1 against the Hatters, with their lone win against the Gators coming in 1941. Stetson's team consists of 10 players, with a breakdown of one grad student, two seniors, one junior, three sophomores and three freshman.

The first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament will take place at 16 different host sites across the country from May 1-3, the third round will take place at the facility of the higher seeded team May 8-9 and the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be hosted by the University of Georgia at Dan Magill Tennis Center May 14-17.
