Savannah Jordan Among 2016 MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalists

Jordan, NCAA Active Leader for goals and points, a three-time Hermann Trophy semifinalist.
GAINESVILLE, Fla – Senior striker Savannah Jordan is among the 15 semifinalists for the 2016 Missouri Athletic Club's (MAC) Hermann Trophy.
This is the third consecutive year Jordan, the NCAA Division I active goals and points leader, appears on the MAC Hermann Trophy semifinal list.
About the MAC Hermann Trophy
The MAC Hermann Trophy is the highest individual intercollegiate award for soccer. This year's winner will be revealed Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at the Downtown Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
Jordan has been among the MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalists as a sophomore, junior and senior.
Penn State's Raquel Rodriguez won both the MAC Hermann Trophy and the Honda Award to take the sport's top individual honors in 2015.

NCAA Division I coaches vote for their top choices Nov. 29 - Dec. 13. The three will be named finalists on Wednesday, Dec. 14. The winner is announced at the banquet in St. Louis, Mo., on Friday, Jan. 6, 2016.
Gators in 2016:
Florida's 2016 season ended in the NCAA Round of 16 with a 3-1 loss to Auburn.
The Gators turned in a 17-5-1 record, tied for third in the Southeastern Conference regular-season, won the SEC Tournament title and was a No. 1 region seed for 2016 NCAA play. Four Gators – Kristen Cardano, Meggie Dougherty Howard, Jordan and Gabby Seiler – were named All-SEC.

- All-SEC first team for fourth consecutive year – only other Gator to earn four consecutive All-SEC first-team honors is Gator Great Abby Wambach
- Second in SEC with 41 points and 16 goals - in NCAA Division I statistics, tied for T-8th in points and T-9th in goals
- No. 2 on Florida's career goals (81) and points (189) - one of 19 in NCAA Division I history to score 81 or more goals and one of seven to do it since 2000. NCAA Active Leader for both goals and points.
- Among top-10 NCAA Division I goal scorers each season – one of three DI players to post four consecutive top-10 goal campaigns since 2000
- Four double-goal matches (at No. 15 UCLA, at Oklahoma State, vs. Georgia, at Mississippi) - turned in 21 multi-goal matches as a Gator
- SEC Offensive Player of the Week (Week 1, Week 8)
- College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American first-team selection
- Part of U.S. U-23 team in Nordic Tournament in England, scoring three goals in the tournament's three matches.
