Gators Move in Latest CSCAA Poll

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Following a pair of runner-up finishes at last week's Georgia Tech Invitational, Florida has stayed in the top 20 in the latest CSCAA/TYR top-25 swimming & diving poll, which was released Wednesday.
The men's team jumped up two spots to No. 7, receiving 185 points, while the women's team fell a spot to No. 17, receiving 114 points.
Looking at just the finals of each event at Georgia Tech, the Gators totaled three individual NCAA A-cuts, 51 B-cuts and five zone-qualifying scores. In relays, they gathered two qualifying times and one provisional time.
Florida will send select swimmers to U.S. Nationals next week in Atlanta.
Poll rankings are compiled by CSCAA member coaches. The next polls will be published on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
