Head Coach Roland Thornqvist Recaps Gators’ Successful Weekend

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- No. 4-ranked University of Florida women's tennis head coach Roland Thornqvist spoke with the media on Monday morning at the UF All-Sports Press Conference in UF Women's Club.
Florida capped their regular season run with a two sweeps over the weekend. The Gators defeated No. 3 Georgia on Friday night to clinch the SEC Regular Season Championship outright for the program's 29th title and 11th under Thornqvist's rein. On Sunday, Florida won 4-0 over the Tennessee Volunteers to end the SEC regular season with a 13-0 record, the program's 24th undefeated SEC season.
Up next, the No. 1 seed Florida Gators are off to the 2016 SEC Tournament in Baton Rouge, La. UF will play the winner of Kentucky and LSU on Friday, April 22 at 3 p.m. ET.
