Guard Bradley Beal is on the verge of becoming the highest-paid Gator athlete in history.

"IT'S GOOD TO BE BRAD"
The Washington Post reported Monday that Washington Wizards fourth-year shooting guard and former Florida star Bradley Beal will be offered a max contract -- five years, worth an estimated $103.5 million -- this summer to re-sign with the team. Beal, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 draft and one of just two "one-and-done players" in UF history, is expected to re-sign with the franchise and in doing so become not only the highest-paid Gator in NBA history, but the highest-paid Gator in any sport. Assuming the Beal deal is consummated, the below chart represents a snapshot of current deals of UF alums active in the NBA, with all but three of the contracts they played under in 2015-16 set to expire this offseason.

| Player | Team | Contract Value | Years | Avg Per | Thru |
| Bradley Beal | Washington | $103.5 million | 5 | $20.7 million | 2021 |
| Al Horford | Atlanta | $60 million | 5 | $12 million | 2016 |
| Joakim Noah | Chicago | $60 million | 5 | $12 million | 2016 |
| Chandler Parsons | Dallas | $46.08 million | 3 | $15.361 million | 2017 |
| Corey Brewer | Houston | $23.42 million | 3 | $7.806 million | 2018 |
| Marresse Speights | Golden State | $10.972 million | 3 | $3.657 million | 2016 |
| Udonis Haslem | Miami | $5.587 million | 2 | $2.795 million | 2016 |
| *David Lee | Dallas | $2.086 million | 1 | $2.085 million | 2016 |
| Matt Bonner | San Antonio | $1.4999 million | 1 | $1.499 million | 2016 |
| Mike Miller | Denver | $1.499 million | 1 | $1.499 million | 2016 |
* In 2009, Lee signed a seven-year free-agent deal with Golden State worth nearly $90 million, which (for now) stands as the richest deal ever given a UF athlete, eclipsing those signed by Horford and Noah. In case you're wondering, the biggest contract ever signed by a Florida football player is the five-year, $68 million pact that went to Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden that included a reported signing bonus of $16 million.
