Gordon Watson Named to SEC Community Service Team

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – For his efforts off of the tennis court, Gator senior Gordon Watson was named to the 2016 SEC Community Service Team, the conference announced this morning.
The Naples, Fla. native has participated in Aces in Motion, the Gainesville Area Community Tennis Association's (GACTA) youth program that uses tennis to promote character development, provide academic support and encourage healthy lifestyle choices to youth of all abilities and backgrounds. Watson has also participated in UF's Climb for Cancer event.
Watson and the No. 11 Florida Gators are set to begin postseason play in Columbia, S.C. for the 2016 SEC Men's Tennis Tournament. The Orange and Blue are the No. 2 seed and will face the winner of LSU and Vanderbilt on Friday, April 22 at 10 a.m. ET.
