GAINESVILLE, Fla. – University of Florida head coach Bryan Shelton spoke at Monday's All-Sports Press Conference in the UF Women's Club. Coach Shelton recapped the Gators' run that landed the squad the 2016 SEC Tournament Title and previewed the next three weeks leading up to NCAA competition.
The Florida Gators captured the program's fifth SEC tournament title on Sunday afternoon in Columbia, S.C. The Orange and Blue defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores, Texas A&M Aggies and the Georgia Bulldogs to clinch the title. Yesterday, Florida was able to edge No. 6 Georgia, 4-2 to avenge a regular season loss to the Bulldogs.
