Florida to Visit Oklahoma in SEC/Big 12 Challenge

The Gators have a pair of top-15 wins in the three-year history of the event.
The Gators will travel to Norman to face Oklahoma on Jan. 28, 2017, for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Like last season, the event will be featured on a weekend in January in the midst of conference action.
Entering the fourth year of the event, the Gators are 2-1 including last season's win vs. ninth-ranked West Virginia in the O'Connell Center. All three previous matchups have been vs. top-15 teams
Oklahoma is coming off a Final Four appearance in 2016 as a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament, but loses Wooden Award winner Buddy Hield. The Sooners are coached by Lon Kruger, who posted a 104-80 (.565) record in six seasons on UF's bench from 1990-96, which included leading the Gators to the team's first Final Four in 1994.
