Henry-Morello begins 2016 season with a new team
Uncasville, CT – Gator great Aneika Henry-Morello signed with the Connecticut Sun during the WNBA off-season and will begin her fifth professional season in the league tonight when her new team plays at Chicago.
The 6-foot-4 Henry played each of her first four WNBA seasons with Atlanta.
Last season, Henry averaged 2.1 points and 4.7 rebounds – the fourth-best average for the Dream – and was the team's top shot-blocker. She appeared in 29 of 34 games and earned 11 starting assignments as she averaged 17.9 minutes of court time per game.
