Joseph Guillin | Paris, France
Joseph Guillin:
"I am really excited and can't wait to discover a new country, new coaches, and new teammates. I chose the University of Florida because of their stellar ranking in tennis, being inside the top 10 last year, and their academic level in economics and business. UF also has a great presence in France with alumni like Joakim Noah, which also attracted me to the university."
Head Coach Bryan Shelton on Joseph Guillin:
"I'm really excited about Joseph Guillin coming into the program this fall, he's going to be someone that we feel will make an immediate impact on the team and the program. Joseph's a high character guy who has a great work ethic, and he's a very good student at the same time, so he's going to bring the characteristics that we're looking for in this program. Those characteristics are obviously going to help Joseph become a successful student-athlete here. We know that he will embody the things that we're looking for and it's really going to help our team chemistry, it's going to give us another well-rounded individual who can speak multiple languages and bring a lot to the team that'll help us become complete. We're all really excited about him coming in and I know he's going to be an amazing Gator for the next four years."
Coach Shelton on the Class of 2020:
"We have signed a tremendous incoming class for 2016. Each of these young men are high character individuals that embody the core values we embrace. They chose Florida because they understand that an education from this great university will set them apart. These young men have great integrity and a desire to reach towards their potential both on and off the court. They will transition well to the team environment here and will represent Gator Nation with passion and pride. We are committed to helping them with their pursuits and look forward to building a relationship for life."
