TULSA, Okla. – The final day of qualifying concluded on Wednesday with
Johannes Ingildsen advancing to the main draw in singles and the duo's of
Andy Andrade and
Chase Perez-Blanco as well as
McClain Kessler and
Duarte Vale advancing in doubles.

In singles action, Ingildsen earned two wins on Tuesday to punch his ticket to Thursday's main draw. In the first match of the day, Ingildsen took on Christian Langmo of Miami and just like his first-round match on Monday he dropped set one. After the set one loss, Ingildsen came back strong to take sets two and three by scores of 6-2 and 6-3. In his third round match, Ingildsen matched up against Tulane's Tyler Schick, defeating him by scores of 7-5, 7-5.

Vale continued his impressive start to his collegiate career in his first match on Tuesday. Vale went up against Oscar Mesquida of Arkansas. Vale dropped the first set 3-6 but took control of the match in the second set with a 6-3 win before closing the door on Mesquida with a 6-3 win in the final set. In his third round match Vale battled Ricky Hernandez Tong of New Mexico. After dropping the first set 4-6, he came back to take the second set 6-2 but fell just short in the third, falling 6-4.

In doubles play the Gators found success across the board with both teams in qualifying advancing to the main draw.

In their lone match of the day Andrade and Perez-Blanco were in a battle from the start with Mississippi State's Nuno Borges and Strahinja Rakic. Andrade and Perez-Blanco won the first battle with a 7-6 (4) victory but came up just short in the second set falling 6-7 (4). In the tiebreak, it was the pair of Gators that outlasted MSU with a 10-8 victory.

The other pair of Gators in competition on Tuesday was Kessler and Vale, who competed against Sven Lah and Roy Smith of Baylor. Kessler and Vale were in a groove early, winning the first set 6-4. The momentum never left the Gators duo, as Kessler and Vale took the second set 6-4 to close out the qualifying draw.
