GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators close out the 2017 season on Saturday by hosting Florida State. Both teams enter with identical 4-6 records, marking just the second time in history that both programs own losing records at the time of their annual matchup.
The first time was 1959, the second year they met.
Still, this is Florida-Florida State and that means a lot is at stake regardless of the records. Pride. Bragging rights. Recruiting momentum. It's all in play when the Gators and Seminoles kick off at noon Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
