Nine graduates were part of eight NCAA title teams during Gator career
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – This Saturday, 33 current and former Gator student-athletes participate in fall graduation ceremonies at the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

- Nine were part of Gator national championship teams – Christian Hicks (2017 baseball), Marquis Dendy (2012 indoor & outdoor, 2013 outdoor track & field), Eric Futch, Jonathan Hulzebos, Carlos Miranda, Nick Uruburu (2016 and 2017 outdoor track & field), Ryan Schnulle (2013, 2016, 2017 outdoor track & field), Delanie Gourley and Chelsea Herndon (2014, 2015 softball).
- Three are Olympians - swimmers Andrea D'Arrigo (Italy) and Corey Main (New Zealand) and Kelly Murphy played on the U.S.'s bronze medal volleyball team.
- Three were SEC Athletes of the Year for their sport – Marquis Dendy (2015 indoor & outdoor field athlete), Kelly Murphy (2008 volleyball) and Kahlia Warner (2016 diver)
- In 2015, Marquis Dendy became first Gator to receive the Bowerman Award, track and field's highest collegiate honor. He was named that season's USTFCCCA Indoor and Outdoor National Field Athlete of Year
- Nine NCAA individual titles won by two Gators - Marquis Dendy (Indoor – 2013, 2015, long jump, 2015 triple jump; Outdoor – 2014, 2015 long and triple jump) and Eric Futch (2016, 2017 400-meter hurdles)
- Four returned from professional athletic careers to finish their degrees – Ryan Harris (baseball), Justin Shafer (baseball), Marquis Dendy (track & field) and Kelly Murphy (volleyball)
- Amber Johnson, Autumn Finke and Jonathan Hulzebos graduate cum laude.
