It's the second time the Gator rookie has been honored with the league's weekly award.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – For the second time this season, Florida's Delicia Washington has been honored as the Southeastern Conference Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
She also was honored for her performance on November 22.
Washington continues to lead all SEC freshmen in scoring and in steals.

Highlights from Washington's Week:
- Washington posted the first double-double of her career when she recorded 12 points and a career-high 11 rebounds in the road win at Alabama on Sunday.
- What made the double-double even more impressive was that she did so 24 hours after a facial contusion suffered in practice the day prior to the game; and she had limited vision out of her left eye.
- She hit both of her three-point attempts against the Crimson Tide, just the second game she has connected on two threes in a game.
- Scored all eight points during UF's 8-2 run immediately after Alabama used a 10-0 run and got within three points with 2:55 left in the third quarter.
- Washington was a big part of Florida getting the road win – its third in SEC games, while helping the Gators win consecutive league games for the first time this season.
- For the week, Washington averaged 9.0 points and 8.0 rebounds, totals that included Florida's home victory against Arkansas.
