Ryan Gensler Named Co-National Basketball Video Coordinator of Year

This is first time in program history a Gator staffer has received this award.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In just two short years working with the Gator women's basketball team, Ryan Gensler has completely revamped the role of the video coordinator within the program and his efforts have not gone unnoticed. Gensler has been named the National Basketball Co-Video Coordinator of the Year, as announced by the Collegiate Sports Video Association Executive Board (CSVA).
Since joining the staff in May 2015, Gensler has coordinated all aspects of the Gators' film and video needs, including opponent scouting, film exchange, film breakdown, managing the video room and supplying coaching staff with game film.
Additionally, Gensler oversees video and social media projects for the program. With Gensler leading the charge, the women's basketball primary social media platforms – Twitter and Facebook – jumped from 2,800 followers on Facebook and 4,255 on Twitter in April 2015 to today's total of 10,632 (Facebook) and 8,268 (Twitter).
