NABC Names White District Coach of the Year; Allen Second-Team All-District

The Gators added to their postseason haul of honors, with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announcing all-district honors on Wednesday. Head coach Mike White has been named District 21 Coach of the Year, and KeVaughn Allen has been named second-team all-district.

These honors add to each individual's honors list this season, as White has been named SEC Coach of the Year, USBWA District Coach of the Year and Naismith Coach of the Year semifinalist. White's 47 wins within his first two seasons are the fourth-most in SEC history.

Allen, the Gators' leading scorer at 13.4 points per game, has previously been named All-SEC (first-team coaches, second-team AP) and USBWA All-District.

The Gators are back in action Friday evening vs. Wisconsin in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen at Madison Square Garden.
