Projected Weather Alters Saturday’s NCAA Tennis Start Times

The NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship first round match between Miami and South Florida will begin at 9 a.m.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With a high chance of rain in the Gainesville area anticipated for Saturday morning and afternoon, the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship first round match between Miami and South Florida will begin at 9 a.m.
The chance of heavy rain in the area increases each hour and the probability remains high of having to play at least one match inside the Charles R. and Nancy V. Perry Indoor Facility, located directly next to the Ring Tennis Complex.
All matches played inside will be on a first-come-first serve admission, as spectator seating is limited.
The top-seeded Florida women's team is scheduled to play its first-round match against UMass on Saturday at 1 p.m. and the Gator men's team will play its NCAA second-round match against Georgia Tech at 4 p.m.
The start time of the two Gator matches remains as scheduled. Fan are encouraged to check FloridaGators.com, as well as team Twitter accounts - @GatorsWTN and @Gators MTN – for the latest information regarding changes to Saturday's schedule.
