Gators Tales 88: Baseball Brings Home National Championship!

The Gators claimed their first baseball national title in school history on Tuesday night in Omaha and this week's Gator Tales takes a closer look at the 2017 team's path to the title.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- They say good things come to those who wait, and after 103 years, the Gators baseball team claimed the program's first national championship with a sweep of LSU in the finals of the College World Series.
On this week's show, host Adam Schick recaps the triumph in Omaha. Gators head coach Kevin O'Sullivan talks to radio analyst Jeff Cardozo (1:25) about winning the CWS on his sixth trip to Omaha since taking over the program in 2008.
In addition, senior outfielder Ryan Larson (8:55), sophomore pitcher Jackson Kowar (13:13), freshman right-hander Tyler Dyson (17:40), and FloridaGators.com senior writer Scott Carter (23:23) discuss Florida's historic accomplishment at TD Ameritrade Park.
