Gators Students Rewards replaces Rowdy Reptiles Rewards Programs
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators are happy to announce the new Gators Students Rewards Program and mobile app for the 2017-18 season.
The Gators Students Rewards Program replaces the Rowdy Reptiles Rewards Program of the past. All students are eligible to participate in Gators Students Rewards Program. Students can download the Gators Students Rewards app on their iPhone or Android, free of charge, through the Apple Store or the Google Play store.
The new rewards program will be similar to the last, with students earning loyalty points by attending designated sporting events on campus. When students attend the event, all they need to do to earn points is open the app and hit "check-in."
The app, which uses GPS technology like most other proximity-based apps, will be a more convenient way for the loyal student fan base to earn points towards great prizes.
The rewards are listed on the app and students can redeem one of their choosing once they reach the designated prize level. The more points accrued by the student, the more prize level options are open to them.
The student with the highest Gators Students Rewards point total at the end of the year will earn the Most Valuable Fan award, which includes a $150 gift card.
There is also a Rookie of the Year honor, which is awarded to the student who has the highest Gators Students Rewards point total at the conclusion of their freshmen year. This student will receive a $150 gift card.
The next opportunity for students to earn points is this Friday, when volleyball takes on Texas at 7 p.m. in the Exactech Arena.
Below is a list of events throughout the fall semester where students can earn points.
