Six Gator Soccer Players Now Gator Grads

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The summer 2017 semester saw six past and present Gator soccer players finish degree work. Several were among the University of Florida graduates receiving their diplomas Saturday at the commencement ceremonies in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

- All six were part of Gator teams that won a Southeastern Conference title during their careers and Florida also advanced to NCAA Tournament action each year.
- Two – Gabby Seiler and Kristen Cardano – will wear the SEC Graduate patch on their Gator uniform for the 2017 season.
- This is the second degree for Valerie Tysinger, as she received her bachelor's in Spanish & Sociology in December, 2015. This semester, she completed work for her master's in Family, Youth and Community Sciences
- Two finished their degrees while also playing professional soccer – Claire Falknor and Adriana Leon.
