Daniel Starkman was a UF men's basketball manager from 2011-15.

Florida players aren't the only ones making their mark in the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks have promoted former Gator manager Daniel Starkman to Manager of Basketball information and Scouting Coordinator, the team announced on Thursday.

Starkman was a manager for UF from 2011-15 and head manager as a senior during the 2014-15 season. He originally joined the Hawks in 2015 as a summer seasonal assistant following his graduation from UF with a degree in business administration and was promoted to a full-time position as coordinator of basketball operations for the 2015-16 season.

While at Florida, Starkman worked on two SEC championship teams and three teams that played in the Elite Eight, including the 2014 Final Four team that won 30 straight games.
