GAINESVILLE, Fla. – As week seven of the NFL season draws to an end, a total of 46 Gators were on 25 of the 32 teams.
Trey Burton, the fifth-year tight end, made his fifth consecutive start for the Chicago Bears. He produced nine catches and compiled 126 yards, both game highs. Burton hauled in an 11-yard reception for a touchdown to pull the Bears within seven, late in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons host the Giants in the Monday night showdown, as three former Florida players appear on rosters. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
