Due to expected heavy rains and high winds on Thursday, SEC Tournament semifinal action is moving to Friday afternoon

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – Thursday's weather prediction shows heavy rains and winds for the Orange Beach area.
With that forecast in mind, semifinal play at the Southeastern Conference Tournament moves to Friday.

This is the second time Florida's involved in a weather adjusted SEC Tournament. The quarterfinal round of the 2010 tournament was held a day due to heavy rains in the Orange Beach area. That tournament schedule had the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds played in consecutive days. This weather forecast doesn't look friendly for soccer play. Due to Thursday's expected weather, SEC Tournament semifinal play is moving to Friday.
