GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A total of 45 Gators were on 24 of the 32 teams, as the NFL wraps up week 15 of the season.
Joe Haden, the ninth-year cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, started for the 12th straight week at cornerback. He led the team with 12 tackles, eight solo. He collected two pass defenses and an interception. With the Patriots driving in the final eight minutes of the game, Haden came up big with an interception, which led to a Steelers field goal.
The Panthers host the Saints in the Monday night showdown, as two former Florida players appear on rosters. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
