Gators Set to Welcome Newest Members

Florida head coach Dan Mullen will sign part of his second UF recruiting class on Wednesday.

It has been about 13 months since UF announced the hiring of head coach Dan Mullen on Nov. 26, 2017. During that span, he and his staff put together an excellent first recruiting class and led the Gators to a 9-3 (5-3 SEC) mark and an upcoming Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl appearance on the field this season.
This year marks the first time in history Florida won nine games after a sub-.500 season and Mullen became the first head coach in UF history to win seven-plus games in his debut season after taking over a sub-.500 team.
In addition, Dan Mullen has brought the mantra of #RelentlessEffort and #GatorStandard to the program that has the entire team and Gator Nation buying in and excited for what's to come in the future.
With that, the future of the program will continue to take shape as Wednesday, Dec. 19 marks the early National Signing Day for college football programs across the country.
"Recruiting is the lifeblood of the program," Mullen has said at multiple press conferences over the past year.
The National Letters of Intent will begin arriving in Florida's football offices early Wednesday morning.
