Brooks and Perez finish in top 25 at Liz Murphey Collegiate

Gators card four-over final round
ATHENS, Ga. -- The Gators had sophomores Sierra Brooks and Marta Perez finish inside of the top 25 at the Liz Muphey Collegiate Classic.
For the second straight round, Perez carded a sub par round to help her move up five spots on the leaderboard. Perez tied for 25th in the event at 5-over for the tournament.
This is Perez' seventh top 25 finish in 10 events this season which leads the team.
Brooks was the Gators top finisher for the fourth straight event and fifth time overall this spring. She would turn in a final round score of 73 (+1) to total a 216 (E) for the event.
This is also the fifth event this spring Brooks has turned in a score of even par or better. She finished 11th on the leaderboard and seven shots back of the leaders.
Addie Baggarly and Taylor Tomlinson also moved up the leaderboard on Saturday. Baggarly finished in a tie for 38th while Tomlinson tied for 46th as they both shot 2-over in the final round.
Coach's Take:
On today's play -- "Solid today overall but, just couldn't really get anything going. We improved our attitudes a lot from yesterday and that was great to see. We were focused and ready to play right from the beginning." -- Coach Emily Glaser
On improvements heading into SEC Tournament -- "We have a few things to sharpen these next few days before we tee it up in Birmingham but if we come mentally ready to play it will make for an exciting week." -- Coach Emily Glaser
