McClain Kessler named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the second consecutive year, Florida's McClain Kessler has been named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team for men's tennis, as announced by the league office.

Since arriving at Florida the Gators team captain has been heavily involved with Aces in Motion and Gator Tracks. Kessler has logged numerous hours of community service helping the underserved youth living on the east side of Gainesville with tennis clinics and after-school programs that Aces in Motion outs on. With Gator Tracks Kessler and others provide shoes for students in Alachua County.

Kessler has been a standup student-athlete both on and off the court. This season Kessler has posted a 6-4 singles record and a 10-10 doubles record on court two.

Florida will be in action on Friday in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament. The Gators will play either Vanderbilt or LSU at 1 p.m. (ET).
