Gators Selected to Kissimmee NCAA Regional

Florida looking to advance to NCAA Championships for 54th time in program history
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators were selected for the Kissimmee NCAA Regional Wednesday, as announced on Golf Channel wednesday night.
The Gators will be the No. 2 seed out of 14 teams at the regional.
81 teams and 45 individuals were selected to compete in the six regional sites to be played May 14-16.
Thirty teams and six individuals will advance from regional sites to the national championships to be played May 25-30 at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Five teams from each regional will advance.
Florida is coming off a semifinal run at the SEC Championships and is currently ranked No. 8 in the country by GolfStat.com.
The Gators return postseason experience in senior Alejandro Tosti, junior Gordon Neale and sophomore Andy Zhang. All three competed for Florida last year in regional play while Zhang had the best finish for the Gators tying for 21st in West Lafayette.
