The University of Florida will launch a redesign of its official athletic website, FloridaGators.com, on Tuesday.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator fans are on the go.
To help those fans keep up on their favorite athletic program, the University of Florida's official website, FloridaGators.com, will include new features and easier mobile use starting Tuesday.
"The new design will allow users to easier navigate and read information on the site much faster on mobile devices," said Scott MacCord, FloridaGators.com webmaster. "With improved navigation and prominent tabs on the top of the home page for more popular areas of the site, fans should see a noticeable difference in their user experience."

- Fully responsive design to maximize the user experience on every screen size
- Team schedules and event information is easier to reach on mobile devices
- Designed for improved accessibility
- Changes to the typeface for stories to improve readability
- Grouped content on home and team pages so fans can more easily see the complete coverage of an event, including the recap, highlights, photos, and more information.
- Calendar widget features a "Live Now" notification to showcase live scores
- Past events on team schedules can now be expanded for a quick glance at the game
- More options for viewing rosters:
- Traditional table or "grid"
- List view
- New "player card" view with large headshots
