Sierra Brooks becomes first underclassman in Emily Bastel Glaser era to earn All-American honors

Sixth Gator to garner WGCA honors in the Emily Bastel Glaser era
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Gators sophomore Sierra Brooks was named a 2018 All-American honorable mention by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), Wednesday.
This is the third consecutive season Florida has had a player garner WGCA All-American honors with Brooks becoming the sixth player to make the list in the Emily Bastel Glaser era. The Orlando, Fla. becomes the first underclassmen in the Glaser era to be named to the list.
Brooks led the team in stroke average with a 72.03 in her 26 rounds this spring, the mark is tied for second in program history. She became the first player in program history to win two of her first three events in Orange and Blue.
In addition to All-American honors, Brooks took home All-SEC recognition when she was voted as a second team member earlier this month.
