Gators Fall to Arkansas; Play Again Tonight

WHAT HAPPENED: No. 7 Arkansas beat No. 1 Florida 8-2 on Friday at the SEC Tournament. The Gators will now face LSU in an elimination game Friday night at 7:30 ET.
Arkansas struck first with a home run in the second inning. After a leadoff walk, Casey Martin gave the Razorbacks a 2-0 lead with his 13th homer of the season.
Florida starter Jackson Kowar settled in and kept the game close until the Hogs added another pair of runs in the sixth inning. He finished with seven hits allowed and four runs through six innings of work.
Blaine Knight kept the Gators off the board until Jonathan India's solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
A sacrifice fly from Austin Langworthy in the bottom of the eighth inning cut the deficit to two and Florida got the tying run on first base, but the Hogs escaped the jam.
A grand slam in the top of the ninth from Arkansas' Hunter Wilson put the game out of reach.
