GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Three Gator soccer players finished their undergraduate degrees this spring. The trio receive their diplomas this weekend at commencement ceremonies in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
The trio finished their degrees in four years or less. Troccoli graduated early from high school to enroll at Florida in the spring of 2015 as she played her first collegiate season later that fall.
Gator soccer's Jessie Holmes received her biological engineering degree Sunday afternoon.
Here's some more highlights for the spring 2018 Gator soccer grads:
Members of 2015 Southeastern Conference championship teams. Florida also won the 2015 and 2016 SEC Tournament titles.
Florida advanced to NCAA action each of the last four seasons, reaching the NCAA Quarterfinal in 2014 and 2017 and the NCAA Round of 16 in 2015 and 2016.
The Gator senior class accumulated a four-year record of 70-19-4 (0.774). Seventy wins ties for third in NCAA Division I action and the winning percentage stands No. 5 since the 2014 season.
The three earned Academic All-SEC honors.
Douglas and Troccoli will wear the "SEC Graduate" patch next fall as both will enroll in UF master's programs.
