Gators Shining in Summer Leagues

With summer in full swing, several current Gators players are away participating with summer league teams around the country.
Five players are playing in the prestigious Cape Cod League, including Austin Langworthy who has five home runs and 14 RBI already for the Falmouth Commodores.
Also playing for the Commodores, Tyler Dyson has made two starts on the mound with a 1.80 ERA. In his last start, he allowed just one hit over five shutout innings with eight strikeouts.
Brady Smith is also standing out in the Cape, hitting .294 for the Cotuit Kettleers.
In the Northwoods League, Andrew Baker is getting action at the plate (3-for-10, HR) and on the mound (3.24 ERA in 8.1 IP) for the Madison (Wisc.) Mallards. Cal Greenfield has four doubles and an RBI for the Mallards.
Hunter and Kirby McMullen are teammates on the Charlottesville (Va.) TomSox. They combined to pitch 8.2 innings on Thursday with just one run allowed in the TomSox win. Hunter has a 1.72 ERA in 15.2 innings with 22 strikeouts.
Kirby has a 1.97 ERA in 13.2 innings without walking a batter and is also hitting .308 (8-for-26) with a pair of doubles and four RBI.
