
Florida's men named USTFCCCA Indoor Scholar Team of the Year for third time in program history.

NEW ORLEANS – A total of 13 Gators and both teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced this morning.
Florida's men were also named the USTFCCCA Indoor Scholar Team of the Year. The Gators won the honor by virtue of being the highest-finishing team at NCAA Indoor Championships—where the Gators won their first indoor national title since 2012—with at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average.
This is the third time in program history the Gators' are receiving the honor, with the other two occurrences coming in 2012 and 2013.
All-Academic Individual honorees must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher, and met at least one of the following criteria:
The Gators' 13 individuals were:
Florida's men (3.19) and women (3.22) both eclipsed the 3.00 barrier required to be a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. This is the fourth consecutive year the women earned the honor, while it is the first honor since 2013 for the men.
