Gators Announce 2018-19 Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Head women's golf coach Emily Glaser announced the 2018-19 schedule Monday.
The team will play in four fall tournaments, with two in September and two in October. The spring season consists of five tournaments, beginning the first week of February and going through the middle of April. Post season play will continue through April and May.
The Gators will begin the fall season in Charleston, South Carolina playing in the Cougar Classic, hosted by College of Charleston, September 9-11.The very next weekend they will head north to East Lansing, Michigan for the Mary Fossum Invitational, hosted by Michigan State.
October will begin with the Gators return to the Windy City Classic October 1-2, hosted by Northwestern. Florida finished fourth in the tournament last season. The team will travel to the Betsy Rawls Invitational October 19-21 at Texas to close out the fall portion of their schedule.
Florida will open the spring season at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at the Palos Verdes golf Club in Palos Verdes, California February 3-5. The Gators finished seventh at the Challenge last season. They will next return to the AllState Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana at the English Turn Golf Club, where they expect to defend their team title won last season. Sierra Brooks took home the individual title for the event last season as well.
March will begin with the Gator Invitational at Mark Bostick Golf Course, March 9-10. The Gators have won the team title for three years running and will be looking to add number four to the list. Sierra Brooks also won the individual title for the event last season.
The Gators will travel to Auburn, Alabama for the Evans Derby Experience March 23-25, hosted by Auburn. The team finished tied for sixth at the event last season. They will finish up their spring season at the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic April 11-13, hosted by Georgia, where they finished 10th last season.
The SEC Tournament will be April 17-21 at Greystone Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama, where the Gators will look to improve upon their sixth place finish from the 2017-18 season. NCAA Regionals will follow, beginning May 6, and NCAA Championships will begin May 17.
