GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators are scheduled for an evening matchup at Mississippi State on ESPN, the SEC announced on Monday.
The game will be at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN in Starkville, Mississippi at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.
The road trip to Starkville marks Dan Mullen's return to face his former team. This is the Gators first meeting with the Bulldogs since 2010. Mullen, who went 69-46 during his nine-year stint at Mississippi State, finished the 2017 season second in Bulldog history in all-time wins. In addition, his .600 winning percentage ranked second in MSU coaches who had coached six or more years.
Florida holds an all-time record of 33-19-2 over Mississippi State, with the Gators losing the last meeting 10-7 under Urban Meyer.
