Men's Basketball TV Schedule Announced
Wednesday, September 19, 2018 | Men's Basketball
Game times have been announced for Florida's 2018-19 men's basketball schedule. The Gators have three broadcast appearances on CBS with the balance of their games available nationally via the ESPN family of networks.
Florida will open the season on Nov. 6 with a 9 p.m. tip in the Fresh from Florida Sunshine Showdown at Florida State, airing on ESPN2. The date marks the earliest season opener on the calendar in program history.
UF's non-conference showdown vs. Michigan State will tip at noon on CBS.
The Gators' Dec. 29 home game against Butler will take place in the afternoon, airing on ESPNU at noon, 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. That game time will likely be set in early December once ESPN's football bowl schedule is set.
Two of Florida's road SEC games will be on CBS, a noon tip at Georgia on Jan. 19 and a 2 p.m. game at Kentucky in the regular season finale.
The rest of Florida's conference slate will air on one of the ESPN networks, with many television assignments to be finalized closer to the game date.
Season tickets and mini plans are on sale now. Fans can get more information from the Gator Ticket Office by visiting FloridaGators.com, calling 352-375-4683 or visiting the box office located between Gates 1 and 2 on the west side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
