GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Gators continue to be well-represented at the next level with 44 former players taking the field for 22 teams during week seven of the National Football League's 100th season.
Veteran defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. put together his best performance of his five-year career in the Los Angeles Rams' 37-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Fowler Jr. tallied career-highs in sacks (three) and tackles (seven), while also forcing a fumble and deflecting a pass.
The St. Petersburg, Fla. native declared for the draft after his junior season in 2014 after appearing in 37 games for the Gators. Throughout his collegiate career, he registered 140 tackles and 14.5 sacks.
