Florida Announces 2020 Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida softball program announced its 2020 schedule Friday afternoon and as the anticipation builds for the upcoming season, the Gators home schedule features 29 regular season games at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
In 2019, the newly renovated $15-million KSP Stadium welcomed over 50,000 fans for the third consecutive season and registered a stadium record crowd of 3,140 during last year's NCAA Super Regional against Tennessee.
"We have the best fans in the country." Head Coach Tim Walton said. "Their continued support and energy they bring to the field certainly makes an impact on the game. We look forward to Gator Nation turning out again for another exciting season at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium."
In Southeastern Conference action, UF is scheduled to host series with Auburn (March 6-8), Ole Miss (March 28-30), Missouri (April 9-11) and Georgia (April 24-26). In 2019 and for the third consecutive season, every program in the SEC received a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Florida's SEC slate also includes trips to Kentucky (March 20-22), Knoxville (April 3-5), Arkansas (April 18-20) and South Carolina (May 1-3).
Outside of conference play, the Gators welcome Louisiana (Feb. 28-March 1), Baylor (March 13-15) for a three-game series and solo contests against Florida State (March 11), UNF (Feb. 12), Jacksonville (Feb. 19), FGCU (March 4), Bethune Cookman (March 25), and USF (April 15).
The program also takes midweek trips to UCF (April 1) and FSU (April 22).
For the seventh consecutive year, the Gators return to USF Opening Weekend Invitational (Feb. 7-9) to open the season. While there UF is scheduled to take on Illinois State, Fresno State, Michigan, Georgia State and USF.
UF once again will host the Bubly Invitational (Feb. 14-16) with games against SE Louisiana, North Dakota State, Longwood and Florida A&M.
The program will also make its return to the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic (Feb. 21-23) in Palm Springs, Calif. and is set to face Arizona, Northwestern, Arizona State, UCLA and Nebraska.
