
Gators Continue to Strengthen Future Schedules, Add Arizona State Series in 2028, 2031

GAINSVILLE, Fla. – In the continued effort to achieve the Gators' goal of playing 10 Power 5 opponents each season, Florida and Arizona State have agreed to play a home-and-home series in 2028 and 2031.
The first matchup will be at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz., and the return trip will be in Gainesville three years later. These two schools have yet to meet on the gridiron.
Florida recently added home-and-home series with Colorado, Miami, Texas, and Utah, in addition to extending its contract with Florida State as well.

2020 Season Ticket Deposits Available Now
Fans can secure their seats for the 2020 season inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium by placing a $100 deposit per season ticket. The deposit reserves their seat for UF's matchups with LSU, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina and the entire home slate.

The quickest and most efficient way to order is online but fans may also call the Gators Ticket Office at (352) 375-4683 or visit the Ticket Office on the west side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
As in previous years, payment plans are available to Gators Football season ticket holders. Season ticket holders can opt in to a payment plan online or by speaking with their Gators Ticket Office Representative.
Current season ticket holders do not need to place a deposit for 2020, renewal information will be sent at a later date.

- Florida welcomes Utah to The Swamp in 2022 and will make trip west to Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City in 2023.
- Florida and Utah's only previous meeting came in 1977 where the Gators claimed a narrow 38-29 victory in Gainesville.
- As of now, this is the first time the Gators will face an opponent from the Pac-12 since they matched up against Washington in 1989. The Gators hold a slight 6-4 all-time advantage versus Pac-12 programs.
- Prior to the 2019 season opener against Miami at the Camping World Kickoff in Orlando, the two schools announced home-and-home series for 2024 and 2025. Florida welcomes Miami to Gainesville Aug. 31, 2024, then make a return trip to Miami Sept. 20, 2025.
- These two contests will be just the fourth and fifth meeting between the two programs since the start of the 2005 season. The Gators and Hurricanes last played a home-and-home series in 2008 (a 26-3 win in Gainesville) and 2013 (a 21-16 loss in Miami Gardens), while the last time one occurred in consecutive years was back in 2002 and 2003.
- The Gators will face the Buffaloes in Gainesville on Sept. 9, 2028, and UF will travel to Boulder, Colo. for a non-conference contest on Sept. 8, 2029.
- Despite historic success between the two programs including four national titles and 35 conference crowns, Florida and Colorado have never met on the gridiron
- The Gators will face the Longhorns in Gainesville on Sept. 7, 2030, and UF will travel to Austin, Texas for a non-conference contest on Sept. 6, 2031.
- UF and UT first met on the gridiron on Oct. 25, 1924, when the two schools' played to a 7-7 draw. The Longhorns won the only other two matchups in 1939 (12-0) and 1940 (26-0).
