
Kramer Earns SEC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Senior middle blocker averaged 2.40 kills per set and 1.20 blocks per set in win over No. 24 Missouri
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After helping Florida defeat No. 24 Missouri to stay atop the SEC standings, Rachael Kramer was honored by the league on Monday afternoon.
Kramer was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week for second time this season.
Against Missouri, the Phoenix, Ariz. native notched 12 kills and a .348 clip to help give Florida the five-set win over the Tigers.
The senior also averaged 1.20 blocks per set on five block assists and one block solo.
With those six blocks, Kramer moved into seventh place in program history with 430 total blocks, surpassing Kelsey Bowers (426).
Kramer also moved in fifth place in Florida program history with 386 block assists, passing both Kelsey Bowers and Heather Wright in the match.
During conference play, Kramer is currently third in hitting percentage with a .385 clip.
The Gators are back in action on Friday when the team takes on Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss. at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network +.
