GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Forty-three former Gators were featured across 23 teams during week 15 as NFL teams continue to fight for playoff positioning with just two games remaining in the season.
Two defensive linemen were forces for their respective defenses on Sunday, as both Carlos Dunlap and Dante Fowler Jr. each registered six tackles.
Dunlap was able to sack Tom Brady with under a minute remaining in the first half, increasing his total to a team-leading 6.5 sacks on the season . The 10-year pro also forced a fumble.
Fowler Jr. has produced a career season in his fifth NFL campaign, already posting career-highs in sacks (9.0) and tackles (50) with two games remaining.
On Monday night, Saints rookie C.J. Gardner-Johnson continued to make the most of his opportunities, securing a career-high and team-leading eight tackles, including ta pair for loss, in New Orleans' 34-7 win at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
