Gators to Welcome Eight Members for 2020-21 Campaign
Monday, December 2, 2019 | Men's Swimming & Diving
The incoming class has collected success at the high school level, tallying seven state championships and producing 21 state finalist finishes, while achieving various accolades at the highest levels of national and international competition.
With 11 seniors on their way out after this season, the group will be counted on to step in and contribute immediately in the water for the Gators, who are on their quest for their eighth-straight Southeastern Conference championship this season.
Nesty's Take on the Class
"We are excited to have signed this extremely talented and diverse group of student-athletes. This group will fit into the program perfectly and will contribute positively both in and out of the water. They all are of good character and will be admirable ambassadors of the Gator Nation. This class will consist of Junior National Qualifiers, National Qualifiers, Olympic Trial Qualifiers and now will have an additional National Junior Team Member. I would like to thank my Associate Head Coach, Steve Jungbluth, for his passionate efforts and relentless commitment to the Gator Program."
