Florida and UConn Agree to Two-Year Series

Florida visits UConn on Nov. 17, 2019, to open the series.
Florida and UConn have agreed to a home-and-home series over the following two seasons, beginning in Connecticut on Nov. 17, 2019, and wrapping up in Gainesville in the 2020-21 season.

In addition to the UConn trip, the Gators will also visit Butler and host Florida State during next season's non-conference schedule. Florida and UConn also both have a spot in next season's Charleston Classic, along with Miami, Missouri State, Penn State, Saint Joseph's, Towson and Xavier.

Florida is 1-3 all-time vs. UConn, with the lone win coming in the 1994 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. UConn took both ends of a home-and-home earlier this decade, with another Huskies win in the 2014 Final Four in between. UF's two losses to UConn in 2013-14 bookended the Gators' program-record 30-game win streak.
