Florida to Honor 1994 Final Four Team
Monday, February 4, 2019 | Men's Basketball
In the 100th season of Florida basketball, the Gators will welcome home the 1994 Final Four team at the Feb. 23 game vs. Missouri, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the program's first trip to the Final Four.
The Gators will wear throwback uniforms for the game, styled after Florida's 1994 uniforms.
Florida's 1994 team, coached by Lon Kruger, finished with a 29-8 record and reached the Final Four as a No. 3 seed, topping Boston College in the regional final. The high-scoring backcourt duo of Dan Cross (15.7 ppg) and Craig Brown (14.8 ppg) paired with the frontcourt of Dametri Hill, Andrew DeClercq and Brian Thompson helped the '94 squad to a 12-4 SEC record.
